May 1 National Pet Month
This month, for the entire month, we recognize that one man’s pet may not be another’s. However, it shouldn’t matter. If you love your pet, why care about whether someone else loves it or not? Dogs and cats are the best known pets but frankly they can come from any species on earth (and maybe from elsewhere if you believe in that sort of thing). Horses, snakes, rodents and I assume even the occasional worm could be considered pets. Love them regardless of what they are, they are yours and you should be theirs. And remember, this is not just for today but for the entire month!
How to celebrate – Take your pet for a walk (not recommended for goldfish). Spend more time each day with your pet. Buy your pet a gift.
