October 4th Change A Light Day

October 4th Change A Light Day

Most of us change light bulbs when they burn out, we don’t require a special day to do that, but for those that do need a day (No judgement) today is the day. It comes the 1st Sunday in October and has since 2001. For those who started the tradition it means they have changed lights 19 lights!  Remember, it only requires changing one light bulb so you do not need to tire yourself out changing anymore. Naturally you may want to change the ones that have burned out first. And I suggest that the light you choose be one that is burnt out if you do have a choice.

How to celebrate – Change a light bulb! Make the new bulb a different color. If all your lights are still burning perhaps you could ask a neighbor if you could change one of theirs.
