November 4th King Tut Day

For only being a King for 10 years, King Tutankhamen sure became famous! Maybe it was more for being so difficult to find, than for anything he did. The boy King ruled from 1333 BC to 1324 BC before either being murdered or passing from natural causes (and yes, they really don’t know how he died). He was 9 when he became King and died when he was 19. His tomb was discovered on November 4th, 1922. King Tut was once again popular, even though he apparently came with a curse. I wonder if he gets royalties from all the movies made about him since then?

How to celebrate – Visit one of the many King Tut exhibits around the world. Visit Egypt. Walk like an Egyptian.
