Today we celebrate poultry. Why you may ask… heck if I know, I did not pick the day, name the day, or create the day. In fact, no one seems to know too much about it at all. Now I am sure someone will object to all that but I’m not going to chicken out, call me a turkey and maybe it is a foul subject. This day does not suggest we eat poultry, that we keep them for pets or even participate with them in any way. It is simply about poultry so make of it what you will. So why did the chicken cross the road? The more important question may be… who cares?
