The Twilight Zone premiered October 1st, 1959 with Rod Serling as it’s host from 1959-1964. It was a ground breaking show in it’s day although most would be considered pretty mundane these days. (Although there were some episodes that are even state of the art today!) What may be even more of a story line for Twilight Zone Day is, why May 11th? It is a mystery all on it’s own. If you are too young to have ever seen the series its still on reruns and is well worth the effort.
