Okay, so we all know the story of Alice In Wonderland and one of the most beloved characters in the story is a crazy person known as the Mad Hatter, probably because in history they were truly crazy. See, a Hatter worked in mercury making hats for customers and mercury was known to drive people insane with constant contact. Hence, the Mad Hatter. More confusing was the 10/6 sign in the Mad Hatter’s top hat. It probably was the cost of the hat, 10 shillings and sixpence. The day was created by another group thought to often be crazy, computer techs in Colorado (Yes before the pot laws changed) in 1986.
