November 4th Use Your Common Sense Day

Today celebrates something we all often forget to do, use our common sense. That’s the knowledge we have gained over the years that we tend to forget when we are rushed or flustered over something we are doing. “I should have known better” generally soon follows and yes, we should have known better if we had simple used our common sense. Bud Bilanich created today in honor of comedian Will Rogers who was a proponent of one using their common sense, although it could have equally have been placed on Thomas Paine’s birthday, the author of “Common Sense” who’s birthday is on February 9th.

How to celebrate – Use your common sense. Read about Will Rogers. Read “Common Sense”.
