June 4th National Trails Day

When we think of trails we think of treks through the woods or maybe a park, something nice and pleasant, relaxing. And that is what today is all about, those happily little trails with all those happy little tress that make all those happy little people. And I admit, I am happy someone created that trail before me so I can relatively safely walk down it. However, not all trails are happy trails. We think of the Santa Fe trail or the Oregon trail and look at the efforts required to even follow those trails let alone create them. So just remember as you traverse that path you are on, someone before you carved that trail for you… even if it was through downtown New York City. Today is celebrate on the first Saturday in June.

How to celebrate – Find a path and follow it. Create your own new trail. Release the explorer inside you.
