To have a Serendipity Day you kinda need to know what serendipity means and that’s a little difficult because the exact meaning is a bit vague. The word was created back in 1754 by Horace Walpole after reading a Persian Fairy Tale called, “The Three Princes of Serendip”. So basically serendipity means a blessing in disguise, it’s not exactly luck but sort of more like being in the right place at the right time for something good to happen for apparently no reason at all. (And I guess it could be bad too). Today was created by Madeline Kay who calls herself “The Serendipity Lady” in 2010.
How to celebrate – Try to be in the right place at the right time. (Hard to do) Look for the silver lining in everything that happens. Try to define what is lucky and what is serendipity.
