November 21 False Confession Day

There are those that will confess to crimes in the idea that they can spare a loved one a prison sentence or worse. Generally the confessor is an older person who figures they deal with better than the younger, or maybe because they don’t have as long to live. The truth is, it does no one any good. Paying for someone’s crime probably only allows the criminal to commit others crime, knowing they got away with a crime to start with that they shouldn’t have. There are also those who want the 15 minutes of fame, claiming to have committed crimes they have not has anything to do with.

How to celebrate – Don’t confess to anything you didn’t do. Don’t expect others to confess for your crime. Live up to what you do.
