Meaning well, The UN declared Human Rights Day on December 10th, 1948. Meaning well and making it function are sadly too different things. The UN does very little well, particular ensuring Human Rights. it is not because they do not try, they do, they just really have no power to enforce the ideas they profess and when one side of a Human Rights issue is given assistance, they other side claims their rights are being violated.
