Today is the 12th Day of Christmas, the Feast of the Epiphany or Three Kings Day. It is an important day since now Christmas is actually over, the three wise men have packed up their camels and are started back where they came from. Sometimes lost in the day though is that this also marks the beginning of the journey where the wise men tell the rest of the world about their Epiphany, the birth of Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian, this is a very important day because it may have been the first time many heard of the birth of the Savior.
How to celebrate – If you set up a manger scene, it’s time to start those wise men for home. (Or on the rest of their journey) Celebrate the last day of Christmas in some special way. Be thankful for all you have.
