Tatting is the act of making lace into the patterns. There are three basic types of tatting, Shutter Tatting is making lace by using tools to cut the patterns into the material, Needle Tatting is done by sewing the pattern into a lace work by hand or sewing machine and Cro-Tatting is the process of crocheting the pattern into a lace type product. Whichever style is used is done with precision making the delicate artwork a masterpiece of it’s own.
