April 16th National Bean Counter Day

If you like to crunch numbers, do taxes and create ledgers then you probably are a bean counter. People, generally speaking the CPA, are considered bean counters because they work with numbers all day long. They probably even dream numbers! They are extremely important since most of us can’t stand, and don’t want to, work with numbers all day long. The day was created by Kevin Werig from Trumbell Accounting and put on the day after taxes were due to ensure that Tax accountants had a day off after tax day.

How to celebrate – Thank your accountant. Become a CPA. Do Sudoku.
