May 7th National Day of Prayer

The Founding Fathers asked the country to pray for help and guidance in the fledgling country in 1775, It was asked for again during the Civil War and in every war the United States has fought in. Harry Truman asked for prayers in 1952 and finally, after over 200 years of being asked to form some sort of day for prayer, Congress got around to it in 1988. Over 35,000 locations set up a day of prayer for the country on May 7th, probably even more that we don’t know of. And this country certainly needs prayer today, starting with prayer for those who are leading us down a very dangerous, wrong path.

How to celebrate – Pray for the country today. Pray someone will lead us. Pray that the lies end.
