July 21st National Be Someone Day

Today is special, it’s about being a hero and you don’t need any super powers to do it. Learn how to spot child abuse before it is too late. You will be protecting children which is pretty heroic in itself. Child abuse can come from people you would never suspect, and sometime from people who don’t even mean to do it but for whatever reason can’t seem to control themselves, so they obviously need help. Considering a child looks to their parents, teachers and even friends parents for what is normal, they may not even realize their lives may be different because of those abusing them. Today was created by and sponsored by Project Harmony.

How to celebrate – Learn how to spot child abuse. Report child abuse even if you just suspect it, let the pros fund out if it is real or not. Support Project Harmony.

July 21st National Be Someone Day

The idea of being someone is that the someone you become is someone who stands up against child abuse and neglect. It is an important someone who is thanked by Project Harmony who created the day. In a world where we have learned so much, gained so many abilities and have command of so many things at our fingertips, the idea that child abuse still exists is so sad. It is likely to be worse after these trying times and you have to think of yourself as the single force to stop it. If we all do that, maybe we can at least slow this sickness down though it’s unlikely we will ever be able to end it.

How to celebrate – If you suspect child abuse, report it. Treat your children as if they are the most important thing in your life because they are. Learn the warning signs of child abuse.
