June 12th National Red Rose Day

June 12th – National Red Rose Day

The red rose is America’s favorite flower. It is supposed to represent love and romance. It is a beautiful flower and I have to admit, red is my favorite color so the combination works well. “Roses are red, violets are blue. Some people are allergic and it makes them achoo!” Roses signify many emotions, among the many colors are pink – admiration, yellow – friendship, white – innocence, orange – excitement, lavender – wanting a relationship to grow and peach – thank you. No matter what color rose you get, cherish it, but remember… red is the best.

How to celebrate – Send someone roses today. Plant some roses in your garden. Learn what all the colors of roses mean so you can send the best one for the emotion they represent.
